Saved me from 3X5 overload

I decided to buy one of these when I realized I needed to do something about my 3X5 Disks getting out of control. I design graphics, webpages, electronic greetings, screensavers, ICQ skins. I was being drowned by floppies.
My CD-Writer has been a true godsend. It was so easy to install, I only had to answer yes or no, and presto, it was working. It is also easy to use and to understand how to use. It comes with a CD Wizard that guides you through setting up each CD and explains what each set up term means.
The main reason I picked an external was immediate gratification. I did not have to wait for someone to install it for me. I just brought it home, removed it from the box and plugged it in to the USB port.
It also came with three software programs but since I primarily bought it for storage I really have not used any of the programs that came with it.
These are the programs that came with mine:
Neato CD Labeler
Filing Central by eFax.com
Broderbund Multimedia Organizer Professional
Acid Music Foundry.
I do have plans to use the CD Labeler and perhaps the Acid Music Foundry but still have no real use as yet for the Multimedia Organizer or the Filing Central.
One flaw perhaps or drawback is the drain on memory this item causes. I have 128mb of RAM and it is not too long after using this especially since I use it along with my graphics programs, my memory is low and I need to shut all programs and/or reboot.
I have had this product now for about nine months and I really find it hard to imagine what I did without it. I will never be without one again. I will also continue to buy Hewlett Packard's as I am very satisfied with my purchase.
