Excellent Scanner

I have been using this scanner for a while now in Windows 95 and then 98. The SCSI card that it ships with is PCI and easy to install. The software loaded very smoothly. I do like the one touch button on the front of the unit. The scanner has a toolbar that launches at startup to make scanning easy. The scanner is extremely quiet and fast. Off course the speed of my scans increased when I increased my RAM. I have been very happy with this unit. I have not tried the film adapter unit that the scanner can use. The automatic document feeder is a good option for those that are doing multiple documents. Canon's tech center is very helpful when it comes to setting up the scanner. I would recommend this scanner to an individual that needs high end output, speed, and durability. Excellent Scanner....
