Received BearPaw scanner, and it scans and "reads" text really well and quickly. Then it puts it on my screen in MS Word so I can modify it, too!
Scanned a 5 x 7 page last night, and then changed font size and double
spaced it to fill a page, and it worked easily and great! Only problem so far is that I cannot send Email with it - message says Netscape needs to be configured, so I need to figure that out, too. I would still say it is a great machine - especially for $99. + shg.It comes with PhotoExpress 3.0 and scans quickly, too, allowing user to edit picture before printing or
using. Installation was simple, too.
