I purchased this scanner over Hone Shopping for $89.95, which is pretty cheap when you consider the quality of this scanner. Now don't get me wrong, you're not going to find the features that you will on say a $250+ scanner, but if all you're looking for is something for personal use then take a look at this one.
The quality of scanned images is excellent, and the default resolution of 200 does the job nicely. If, however, you want a high resolution, you can crank it all the way up to 19200, but be prepared for a considerable scan time if the res is over 2400.
There isn't much more to say about this scanner. I like the convenient five button one touch layout at the front which allows you to perform various tasks at the touch of a button.
It came bundled with Ulead Photo Express and Photo Explorer, as well as several others, but for general use the Photo Express program works great.
