| smeeeko's Full Review: Visioneer OneTouch 7600 Flatbed Scanner |
The Visioneer Paperport scanner is a fun & easy to use scanner... It is easy to hookup to your computer and the software is easy to install.
It comes with Photosuite software for photo editing which makes it super easy to edit photos once scanned.. This is a big plus to this simple scanner. The downside of this is that for any serious scanning use, the drivers seem to wear out after about a hundred photos and although there are drivers to download online.. eventually these too, will wear out.. Unless you are fortunate to have this happen to you before your warranty expires.. this really isn't worth the expense to have it fixed unless you know someone who will do it cheaply.
Although this scanner is quite affordable, based on my personal experience with this brand, I recommend spending a little extra money and going with a bigger brand name. The money you spend on a better model will benefit you in the long run.
