Pros: USB is cool idea.
Cons: USB support is nonexistant outside of win98, sound is mediocre at best
The Bottom Line: Don't touch with 10 foot pole, they're not worth it.

| jaeverner's Full Review: Altec Lansing ADA 305 2 Speakers |
The USB feature is nice, but driver support is only for Win98 which is pointless since few people still use 98. Support for 2000 and XP would be nice. For $100 or so more you could get a great sounding set of true surround speakers. These speakers are very susceptible to electrical interference which is hard on the audio experience. The sound is muddy in general and the highs are anything but clear. I would suggest springing for the Logitech Z-560 which only costs $200. Altech has tried to do too much with these speakers, they would have been far better off sticking simply with the audio quality as their number one concern.
