I've had a computer since 1983. I remember even when the PCjr came out, and could have multiple sounds playing from it's little internal speaker at the same time. And since 1983 I've been looking for the best balance of price and sound out of a set of computer speakers. Well, about a year ago I found it.
When I purchased these speakers they were about $90, which put them in the mid-range of price for speakers. I just couldn't see spending more than $100 on a set. Well, I'm glad I didn't. The sound that these speakers provide is some of the best I have ever heard. The bass is clear, sounds are crisp and (can be) loud, and even after a year of heavy gaming (think about how much an EverQuest addict plays) they are still going strong and sounding as good as the day I bought them.
If you need speakers, these are it hand down.
