Pros: Small, great sound quality, inexpensive....more bass for the buck.
Cons: There are "better" speaker sets out there, but these are great for the price.
The Bottom Line: They are a great buy, high quality for not so much cash.

| mikegmi2's Full Review: Cambridge Soundworks C1MWBWEE 2 Speakers |
I have owned this set of Caimbridge Soundworks PC speakers for about 2 years now and honestly I didn't think they would last this long. I have over 600 MP3's and play many computer games with the speakers turned up loud. They have exceeded my expectations. On to the review!
What You Get!
2 2 1/4" satellite speakers
1 6" sub-woofer
1 volume control cord
1 power cord
Crank 'em UP
I have really pushed these things to the max. I have a Turtle Beach Montego sound card and the MP3's sound great coming out of these speakers. There is a point where the sub-woofer can't keep up though. It is a small woofer and if you have the bass turned up too high you will hear some rattling and distortion come from the woofer, but they have to be turned up pretty loud for this to occur.
The volume control is connected to the power cord wire. They give you a few adhesive sticky things that you can stick on the volume control and then mount it under, around, or near your computer desk. You can have your volume control on your PC turned all the way up, but if the volume control of the actual speakers is turned down it will never get loud.
The 2 1/4 inch satellite speakers are really high quality. They put out all the high notes with great clarity. You can hear some slight distortion if the volume is turned up too high, but nowhere near as much as the woofer puts out at high volume levels.
What I Think
What do I think of these speakers? Well I think they are a great buy. For under $50 bucks you can't go wrong with these Caimbridge Soundworks PC speakers. They are affordable and the sound quality is right up there with some of the more expensive speaker sets. You can turn up the volume and they still sound pretty good, and they won't blow out on you either.
Hope this has been helpful.
