Pros: Cheap, Small

Cons: Bass too overpowering at high volumes

This set of speakers is rather old, but now marketed under the Creative Labs name. For its age, this set of speakers performs well.

What you get out of the box is a simple, 2 satilight configuration, with a Shoeboxed sized sub. Setup is easy, should be able to go in a few min of opening the box.

The sound is excellent for a $30 set of speakers. I've heard some of the Altec offerings, and they don't even come close to anything these can provide. Bass is powerful, sometimes too overpowering. Treble is perfect. I suggest you to pair these speakers up with a SB Live based sound card.

For $30, you cannot lose on these speakers. Small, compact, and surprisingly powerful.
