Pros: Great sound, loud, nice high pitch, and low.
Cons: Mini jacks wear out after a while... Needs media sub to sound perfect!!!

| CM1000's Full Review: JBL Media 200 |
I bought the JBL media 200 speakers along with the JBL Media sub. It is an awesome combo. Great lows, and awesome highs. Ranging from 40 HZ to 20 KHZ with the sub and speakers. The speakers reproduce music beautifully. Also very nice for games. I like to play Quake 3, unreal Tournament, Diablo 2. All great. I blast the speakers on Quake 2 and I think that I am really firing a machine gun. These speakers are not just your average mini speakers for desktops, they are HUGE! for desktops. This clearly beats the Altec Lansing Sound Systems, altec lansing is nothing compared to JBL. same with the cheaper cambridge soundworks systems. I have to blast these extremely loud before I hear any distortion. Very robust speakers too, I also Like the metal grill instead of cloth, better protection, from the toddlers with pens running around. :) I recommend this product to anybody. Very nice. It has separate volume levels for bass and treble. Although after a while the knobs wear out and become loose they stay in and work just as well. Another great accomplishment form the leaders in sound reproduction: JBL.
