| Cahill's Full Review: Yamaha YST-MS50 Speaker System |
For the longest time I have wanted to get a high quality speaker system for my computer. I finally found what I was looking for with the Yamaha YST-MS30 3 piece system. You see, I use my computer for a stereo, DVD player, TV and gaming, among other things, so I needed something with great sound. It's a lot cheaper to by PC speakers than it is to buy a stereo system lemme tell ya.
The sound put out by this system it unbelievable. You can adjust the bass on the sub to whatever degree you wish. If you have the volume even to the halfway point your floor will be vibrating away. The loud quality is awesome... but, as with all speaker systems, you don't want to have it all the way up all the time for fear of blowing out your speakers. The low volume quality is good too.
You can not only hook up these speakers to your computer, but your portable CD players too. Some features of convenience with this system are that the voltage converter, aka wall wart isn't located on the plug, but further down the cord so you save outlet space. The other major plus, as I see it, it the on/off switch; this has it so you can turn it on and off without messing with your volume settings as with most pc speakers.
I found this at best buy a week ago while looking for a computer system to get my grandma. They have many different speaker systems of this type on display where you can compare qualities. I would recommend looking at your options. I have had nothing but fun with this system, I hope you will too!
