| lurr's Full Review: Yamaha YST-MS50 Speaker System |
I used this speaker as an upgrade of previous Creative Lab Inspire 2.1 speaker set. The sound quality is aweful and the 80W output is quite enough for PC use.
The bass from subwoofer is much better than the Creative set and the Logitech set I used before. This unit gives a very strong bass but never make you feel muffling. The two satelites also give very nice mid-range sound output, clear, effective and hearing feel. Combined together makes you able to feel the sound wave.
As for the installation, cable connection is easy and the back panel clear to follow. It is so easy to setup that everybody can make it within a couple of minutes. The control panel is also convenient to use. The only thing I thought of the improvement of this unit is to include a remote control, which will be more attractive and more convenient to lazy users!)
The price is also another element to attract me, for a price of less than $50, you can not imagine that you can get such a aweful speaker set.
Highly recommended if you are not so hi fi but meanwhile want a relatively good sound output from pc.
