When I went shopping for new computer speakers, I wanted to buy something that was going to give me a nice sound, for a low price. When i saw the Yamaha YSTM8 speakers for only $35 at CompUSA, I was surprised. Yamaha is known for it's superior quality in all electronics, so I decided to give this product a try.
From the moment I took these speakers out of the box, I was pleased. The speakers are very well made, not light or flimsy in any way. The buttons felt sturdy and the wires were strong as well. After only 5 minutes, I was done connecting the speakers and turned on my computer. The setup for this product is fast and simple, being that there is no software to install, such as a sound blaster.
After about an hour of listening to various types of music and game playing, I was quite satisfied. Great features include:
*Astonishingly Deep Bass Response - Thanks to Yamaha Active Servo Technology (YST) the amplifier, tuned bass-reflex enclosure and speakers actually interact to produce extended, tight, deep bass that's impossible with conventional speaker technology.
*Compatibility - No matter which operating system or processor you use, your computer with an audio output jack will sound better with YST multimedia speakers.
*Subwoofer Output Jack - The YST-M8 speakers sound great by themselves. But for even more low-frequency power and performance, add the YST-MSW8 or YST-MSW10 subwoofer.
*Dual Stereo Inputs - The YST-M8 speakers offer you great flexibility. Plug your sound card into one input and your portable CD, radio or cassette player into the other for great game sound when you're playing and great music when you're working.
*Headphone Output Jack - When you don't want to disturb others, plug your headphones into the jack on the front of the YST-M8 to mute the speakers. The speaker's amplifier will drive your headphones far better than the headphone output of your sound card.
*Color Choice - YST-M8 speakers are available in Calypso Black or Platinum White.
Overall, this is best speaker package you can buy for your money! (Only $35!)
