Decent sound system

Pros: Pretty good sound and clarity for the price.
Cons: Can't really listen to mp3s loud, can't handle bass.
The Bottom Line: Buy only if you are on a computer budget, and don't need bass. Don't expect your mp3's to be very loud on them.

I got this sound system with my piece or junk Compaq, and it's about the only part of my system that still works. The clarity and quality of sound of the speakers is actually pretty good for the size and price of the speakers, I mean they are not the top of the line by any means. They do get the job done, providing good stereo sound, especially for games like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000 Pro, which has pretty high quality and high bitrate sounds, and the speakers handle them very well. The only thing I do not like about these speakers is they distort very easily on low-bass sounds, for example a .mp3 or .wma music file. This can be expected though, because like I said before, they are nothing really special, and I am trying to find I better sound system right now. Although they are pretty god value, I wouldn't recommend them, because they are older technology, and you can buy newer speakers for the same price.
