We bought this machine two years ago, and chose the Panasonic brand because we had over 10 years of trouble-free experience with their microwave. During setup the first problem appeared: it would fax but not receive, or receive but not fax out. Instructions and onscreen menus were not helpful, so we tried returning it to OfficeMax for another. When the return was denied (we had already cut out the UPC for a rebate) we tried some more. After some tinkering it worked just fine. A few months ago, another problem showed up... a fax was received with the ink roll actually sticking to the paper! The onscreen error message was cryptic, something like "Paper Jam." But I was able to fix it by peeling off the fax and re-roll the ink back into place. Finally, yesterday I arrived home to find "Fax in memory" and a paper jam in the slot at the top. I fixed the jam and tried to print the pages in memory; one came out, the other didn't because it did not enter the machine properly. Argh!
