Pros: Great idea, in theory
Cons: No power switch, totally unreliable, lousy customer support
The Bottom Line: If this thing worked it would be a dream product for vid capture. After the experiences I had with it, I couldn't recommend it to my worst enemy!!

This is the single most frustrating experience I have ever had with a pc peripheral. When i unpacked the unit,hooked it
up and installed the software it worked like a dream....for 10 minutes. Beautiful dvd quality video! However next time i tried to use it, the unit and the cap wiz software would lock up. 3 months and 3 instant dvd units later....nothing.
The first unit was tried on 5 different pc's. The second
on 3 and the third on 5. 2 of the units would capture in svd mode only and 1 did absolutely nothing! I wish it had never worked at all!!! I have tried several different capture cards and without a doubt the initial results from this device were the best i have ever seen. Their customer support was next to useless so now I have a $179 paperweight.
