wil31's Full Review: Hauppauge WinTV GO (190) TV Input
I bought the WinTV-Go TV tuner card because I spend a lot of time at my computer, and while I usually don't miss watching TV, sometimes it would be nice to be able to watch, or at least listen, to a program while I keep working. I thought about putting a small TV in my office, but the TV card worked out cheaper, so I thought I'd give it a try.
Installation was a breeze. I had no problems adding in the PCI card, or installing the software. The instructions in the included manual were enough to help me get started, and once I'd performed the auto-scan to find all the available channels, everything was ready to go.
I've had the card for several months, and found I don't use it as often as I thought I would. But sometimes it really does come in handy. I haven't tried any of the more advanced features, like recording a program to my hard drive or anything like that, but for what I wanted it to do, it does it just find.
