Bluelight.com used to be a very good free Internet. I didn't mind the banner at all, and as long as your on a Yahoo affiliated site the banner disappears. The connection rate was very slow compared to other free internets I have tried to use. Freewwweb was a very good one connecting at 493333 bps and Bluelight connects at 28000 bps.
I didn't have that many busy signals and usually always connected but when I couldn't connect it took hours to connect. And for some reason if I was visiting a Yahoo site for too long, such as browsing for a new car, it would disconnect on me. I'm assuming this is because I'm not seeing the banner ads and that is what makes it free.
I suggest you try it for your area if you want but I still think that freewwweb is the best free Internet out there. They have now joined with Juno and have no banner ads all you have to do is download the Juno software.
