Pros:Good connections, Great amount of local dialups nationwide
Cons:none that i've experienced

There are a lot of things to consider when comparing ISP's. I've tried a few local and regional ISP's. I toyed with AOL for a brief period. And I like Earthlink.

I hardly have busy signals, they are usually during normal peak internet hours and I hardly get booted.

Correct me if I am wrong, but these things- busy signals and getting booted- they can vary greatly depending on phonelines, locale, etc., so this must definitely be taken into consideration.

I did the free webcam for 3 months promo and received the cam in just a week or two from when I signed up. The hookup fee was also waived. And Earthlink offers a free month for any referrals.

When I traveled, I tried AOL, but found Earthlink had more numbers available to where I traveled.

I've only dealt with customer service a couple of times, but had no problems with them either time. The fact that I haven't had to is good, in and of itself.

So, basically I am not a life-long Earthlink loyalist, and I CAN'T WAIT for high-speed access such as cable and DSL to be available here in the boontickies, but Earthlink is the ONLY nationwide provider that I found that had local dialup in my Neck Of The Woods. So they are fine for the time being.
