It is not what it used to be...

Pros: Cheap AnyTime access

Cons: It has become VERY unreliable

I've been using Freeserve for a couple of years. I found the service reliable and good value for money. However, lately the service is at the point of becoming unusable... It takes many dial attempts to finally connect and then after some minutes the line is dropped.
Their customer support is a joke, with pre-written answers that do not really answer your question.
Now they've released their connection kit. It is a software that keeps trying different numbers until you are connected. Even this software gives up quite often. This can tell the state of their network.
If you want reliable internet access do NOT use Freeserve...
