| jgold1's Full Review: Juno |
In December of 2000 I needed to find an Internet Provider and decided to subscribe to Juno (the paid version for the unlimited hours they advertised). I tried to download their service and could not get it to work. At that point, I changed my mind and went with a local service that cost more, but was reliable. I called Juno and asked for a refund, since I couldn't use them. The man said okay. Two months later a charge showed up on my credit card...and again the next month. Each month I called and explained my situation. I got back one refund, but not the other. I called, I wrote. I tried everything. Their final reply? No refund. Okay, I'm only out $9.95, not a lot. But if they do this to, say, 100 people..there is an easy $995 and they didn't provide anything for it. I would definitely NOT recommend Juno.
