| elmoebeesn's Full Review: MyFavoriteI |
I recently came across this free internet service provider and reluctantly decided to give it a look. After noticing the homepage was very professional I decided to try it. I have been extremely impressed ever since.
First of all, My Favorite is easy to sign up for and doesn't ask you a million annoying questions such as," What's your favorite breed of dog" like many other free internet service providers do. Also, it is very easy to connect because of the fact that My Favorite is joined with three other providers in an attempt to provide quality access numbers. Rarely will the user ever get a busy signal and there are an abundance of numbers to choose from so that the user can be sure that only local charges will apply. All in all, startup and connection couldn't be better or easier.
Secondly, I like My Favorite because of the fact that it runs very well and the distraction of advertising is minimal. I personally use pay-to-surf programs such as AllAdvantage and I find that too much advertising to go along with the viewbars I have running on my screen will make it near impossible to accomplish anything. With My Favorite there is really no need to worry because of the low amount of advertising and distraction. Furthermore, the system never seems to throw me offline like AOL or other servers have been known to do.
My Favorite is a wonderful ISP and it is free. What more do you need? Anyway, even if you didn't like the service and choose to go with AOL or something similar My Favorite can be used as a backup. It's always good to have multiple ISP's just in case, and there is nothing wrong with your backup being free.
