Pros: I was able to access the internet and web mail.
Cons: Poor service, no tech support and overbearing representatives.
The Bottom Line: My recommendation is to not use this unless the other companies do not have access numbers in your area. This is a poor service.

| quasib's Full Review: People PC |
People PC has two membership levels. For $10.95 you recieve dial up service and one web-based email address. For $15.95 you recieve the same dial up service, up to 5 email addresses, web space and tech support. They have no DSL service available, although they are in the process of adding a web accellerator to their $15.95 service. People PC also offers computer bundles, which includes a computer and service. People PC has nationwide access numbers.
I joined People PC for the $10.95 rate, and received unlimited Internet access. Four days into my first month, I started having some technical issues. I called their 800 line, only to be told that I do not receive tech support unless I have the $15.95 plan. So I say fine $15.95 it is, but refund me my $10.95. No problem they say. I continue to have technical problems that went unresolved, and decided to cancel it after the third month. When I call, I first speak to customer service to determine when the initial $10.95 will be returned. This representative has no record of the previous call, and there is nothing she can do. So I do not get that returned.
When I finally make it to the cancellation rep. he says, "Why are you canceling?". I told him that I just got DSL and don't need the dial up hassle. He says they are going to provide me with an accelerator to boost my connectivity. I say no thanks; my DSL is only $20 a month. He accuses me of lying and insists on getting the company name. When I finally got off the phone, I wished I had never heard of People PC.
