This software game was introduced to my 8 yr. old daughter. At first, she was slow to get involved with the game. Several weeks passed, after suggesting she give it a try and some parental involvement, she began to experiment and was soon on her way to challenging discoveries.
It wasn't long before she begin to express joy and excitement in the fact that she was reaching each level and receiving to investigative designations of completion. We could see her self-esteem grow, and even began to see improvement in class studies that involved creative and cognitive reasoning.
I am a parent that believes in giving a child books, toys, games and computer software that will stimulate the brains ability to reason and calculate possibilities, and be challenging at the same time.
We suggest parental involvement in all aspects of a child's development.
Carmen SanDiego, in my opinion, will help both the child and parent develop a closer relationship with one another, and mentally challenge the child and increase self-esteem.
