I was quite apprehensive in buying utilities such as these. I have tried norton for example- and found it a waste of money. With fix it I have found it a valuable tool. First of all the navigating through the options in fix it were easy and simple in comparison to other utilities of this sort. I must confess originally the reason for my purchase of it, was for win nt at work- in order to defrag the hard drive- since win nt does not do this. And since fix it supports both NT and Windows 95 and 98, I took it home and was pleasantly surprised. I love the take a picture of your operating files in case of corruption- just get back into fix it and start all over with a saved file, eliminating costly formating of the harddrive. It also has virus protection and free updates on the net. Other features include clean and optimize the registry, a fixwizard, yk2 checker,a hard drive error fix it program, a powerdesk utility and more.
It also supports FAT, and FAT 32- this baby is really up to date. The drawback in my opinion is the lack of fix a file or dill that may be causing a problem deep inside the computer. Perhaps in future versions this might be included.
