As a professional Macintosh computer consultant in Manhattan, NAV 6.0 for the Macintosh is an essential tool for the diagnosis and repair of machines I service. With up-to-date and reliable virus definitions updates and an easy to use interface, NAV 6.0 is the best of the anti-virus utilities out there.
I also use Virex on a regular basis, but I've discovered that it doesn't find as many virii and is a bit slower. While Virex does the job, I feel it doesn't do it quite as well as NAV.
New in version 6.0 is the LiveUpdate™ feature that allows a user to automatically update new virus definitions files. This is a very handy feature for me as it means that my end-users won't have to rely on me as much to keep their software up-to-date. The automation, so far, seems to work flawlessly.
NAV 6.0 for the Macintosh is the best of the antivirus program for the Macintosh platform. If you are looking for an antivirus package that is reliable and current, this will work wonderfully for you.
