My Experience with Comet Disinfectant Cleanser with Bleach

I've been using Comet Disinfectant Cleanser with Bleach since I moved out into an apartment on my own around 20 years of age.  I had a small 1BR apartment that required very little upkeep.  However, toilets and kitchen sinks is something that has to be cleaned often or else...(fill in the blank).  My mother always used Comet Disinfectant Cleanser with Bleach and that is the product I chose for those jobs.

Now, several decades later I am still using Comet Disinfectant Cleanser with Bleach.  Why?  It works and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.  Other products that I have tried over the years either work fairly and cost double or more, or just do not work as advertised and I've blown $5.  I've learned to stick with the tried and true product.

In all the years that I have used this product, I have never experienced any scratching of the surface areas I cleaned.  My advice here is to read the product label if you have a question about what kind of surfaces Comet Disinfectant Cleanser with Bleach cab be used on without harming.

I do advise those that have sensitivities to bleach to avoid this product or wear a mask while cleaning.  The smell is not very strong, but those that have breathing difficulties may want to use caution when using this product.

Comet Disinfectant Cleanser with Bleach may also be irritating to the skin.  You can protect your hands by wearing gloves or clean the toilets with a cleaning brush to avoid contact.
