I have purchased these beads in both the gold and the silver varieties, and although the silver beads have tarnished very badly, the gold still looks fairly new and shiny.

These beads remind me of rings (designed as a wedding band) that were popular in the 1970's.  The beads are made by Cousin and fall under the name of Gold Elegance because they are plated with 14K gold. 

The package is small and contains only 4 beads, so these won't go very far unless you want them for making earrings or as an accent in a necklace or bracelet.  They measure about 5mm in diameter, but the hole in these beads is quite large, so I don't find them suitable for making earrings (unless I were to place a smaller seed bead inside of them to keep them from moving around on my jewelry wire). 

The round beads are slightly rough in texture and there are round and leaf shaped diamond cuts or etchings in the beads.  These cuts are very shiny and give the beads a very unusual and elegant appearance.  The cuts really sparkle like diamonds.

The Gold Elegance Carved Beads look very nice when placed next to black beads.  I made a necklace using these gold beads and paired them with oval shaped black Onyx beads and the two were stunning together. 

The gold carved beads do need to be cleaned on occasion, just like any jewelry, but they hold up much nicer than the Silver Elegance Carved Beads.   Because of the carved indentations the silver beads were very difficult to clean and remove the tarnishing.

When making jewelry I sometimes hit the wall.  I simply run out of new and fresh ideas, but these carved beads helped a lot in that regard.  They really are, as the name suggests, elegant. 

These are pricey, retailing for around $5 for 4 beads.
