Bought the Dell Inspiron 15R three weeks ago, and have tested it quite throughly. I do graphic design as my fulltime job, and I do some video editing ont he side.
I wanted a laptop that I could use for design/video editing, so I'm not tied to the desk all of the time.
I love that this notebook comes with 6gb of ram installed. Most of the Dell computers I come accross just don't have the memory required to run my programs.
500gb hard drive, plenty of room for your video's, pictures, and mp3's.
It comes with the 64bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium, so that's another huge plus.
The i5 2.5ghz processor is more than enough for just browsing the web. If you use alot of programs at once, play online games, graphic design, or video editing, this will do everything you need.
On such a powerful notebook, you'd think the battery would only last an hour MAX, but this thing gets me a solid 3 hours running video editing software at medium screen brightness.
The biggest con to me is the small display. 15.6 inches isn't very much, compared to the dual 24 inch monitor's that I have in my office.
