Dyson DC41 Animal Upright Cleaner

My only regret is that I didn't purchase this sooner!  I've owned a LOT of vacuums and this is the best one I've ever owned.  It's not cheap by any means, but it's worth every penny.  Changing from carpet to hard floors is super-easy, and the suction on this thing is amazing.  The first few times I vacuumed with this the amount of dirt it sucked out of my carpet was disgusting and I vacuum on a regular basis. The last few times I used it, the amount of dirt in the dirt collecter had gone down.  My previous vacuum was a Sears cannister that I paid over $400 for and I got tired of tripping over the hose.  The only thing I don't like, is the attachement hose, it's awkward and the machine wants to tip over if you're not careful.
