Pros:Practical business training
This fall I began the Executive MBA program at the University of Illinois. I have found the program to be extremely well thought out in the way it is organized and the staff does a great job of taking care of the students.
Recommend this product?
1. Aside from a few intensive week long sections, the program requires 1 day of class per week but can still be completed in 2 years;
2. The faculty is exceptional! Each of the instructors are obviously very qualified and are excited to work with the EMBA students;
3. The students in the program have attained substantial life experience. Most of the students are 30 - 45 years old and hold significant positions within their companies. This experience really enhances the learning opportunities by brining real world situations into the classroom;
4. The program works well for people who can't stop working in order to attend business school. In fact, the integration of school with work seems to add to the experience.
The program is demanding. Students should plan on spending 30 hours per week studying and in meetings with your study group.
I highly recommend this program!!
