Pros:Nice people and places to go
Cons:Financial aid is the worst
I went to Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1996. I never even heard of the college until I got a pamplet in the mail telling me about the school.

I liked the school very much because everyone on campus was very nice to me and were willing to show me around because most of the students lived in New Jersey. They never treated me like I didn't belong. They actually treated me like I was family. And the teacher were even better. They went out of there way to make sure I understood the material and offered extra help if I needed it.
This school is not well known but I believe that they should rank high like yale does but they don't.
There are 2 things that I dislike about the school.
1.It's located near a river. The river in general is not the problem. It's the smell that comes from it. It smelled like a sewer.
2. The financial aid office. Big time run around.
When I went to the university I was under the impression that my whole tuition and other cost were covered. They weren't. So I had to go to the financial aid office to get some assistance. I filled out all the forms and took out loans. I was told my them that everything was fine, I had nothing to worry about. Well needless to say I did have to worry because after two months of going back and forth to the financial aid office making sure everything was covered because i didn't want to owe any money to the school and be able to register come may. Well lets just say in may when I went to register for the next semester was told I had to go see the Financial Aid Office because they had a hold on my account. To my surprise I was told my tuition was not fully covered. Lucky enough I was able to barrow money from my family for the rest of the tuition but after that experience I never went back.
