As a 1996 graduate of Iowa State University, I am very proud to recommend ISU to any prospective students. I attended ISU to earn my 7-12 teaching license in Biology, after previously attending the University of Northern Iowa (another great school) and earning a BA in management. ISU is a great all around school, with great teacher, great teacher/student interaction, and a pleasant campus life. ISU's best quality is the educational experience itself. The teacher, for the most part, are professors who area active in their fields. Most of these teachers were highly accessible and almost always helpful. Unlike other schools I have attended (University of Iowa), I was not often taught by graduate assistants.
The entire University staff was very accessible and helpful, from scheduling and parking to admissions and counseling. I would recommend ISU to anyone looking for a quality undergraduate education, especially in the sciences. The quality of the educational experience was on par with the University of Northern Iowa, and was much better than the University of Iowa.
