This is a response to KATMARTIN's SCHOOL OVERALL review. It was going to be a comment on her review but it ended up being a lot longer. I have gone into greater detail than my previous review of this school so I thought I could just post it as another review.

I agree with the last part of what you said. But I hated this school. I never had any postitive experiences, like having faculty (even the ones teaching my classes) recognize me outside of class. The students I met during "Welcome Week" didn't want to having anything to do with me or other guys I knew after that week.

You nailed it about the students. THEY are almost more conservative than the teachers, many are sincere but even the ones that were sincere were hard to be around for any length of time.

My math teacher was an OLD geezer that complained every Wednesday after Chapel, telling us how rude we were for not listening (students in general). He could not teach worth a flip, and constantly had to grade on a curve.

My computer science teacher - I think was Mrs. Hanchey, and she was rediculous, I took a programming class in Junior College before attending OBU, and I took the same class and received a worse grade. How's that? Unfortunately, She and her husband were the only Faculty for the Comp. Sci Department, so if you didn't click with them, you might as well chose another major.

Is the speech lab still made up of a bunch of old obsolete equipment that is monitored by a TA?? I used to record over the German lady talking, turned the tape over and listen to it backwards....(it kept me from being completely bored)

Anyone who has a heartbeat (well...) could graduate from this school, easily.
