| Kristy18's Full Review: SUNY at Oneonta |
This is my first year at Oneonta. When I got accepted to Oneonta they sent me a application for a dorm and I filled out what I wanted and sent it back. I got my dorm assignment about a week before school started and I found out I was going to be in a quite dorm. My first reaction was "There goes all the fun of living on campus" I thought that if I lived in a quite dorm then I wouldn't be able to listen to my music when I want or be loud when I want or even have fun. Now that I have lived here for a little over a month I found out I was totally wrong. First off the rooms in Tobey hall are the biggest double rooms on campus. I have one room mate and we never feel that we are cramped or that we are invading each others privacy. The quite dorm rules aren't even that bad. As long as your door is closed you can play your music or be loud or have your t.v. on whenever you want. I also have no problem studying right in my room. I walk past other dorm buildings all the time and they are so loud. There is no way that you can get any of your work done in your room. You would definetly have to go to the library to study. If your looking for some where to stay when you are going to school at Oneonta and you want to have somewhere where it is easy to do your homework and most of the people in this dorm are so nice that you never have to worry about getting into conflicts with the people in the halls.
