Pros:It is a good place to get a solid education
Cons:For those who have never been away from home alone, it might corrupt you to live on campus

In the heart of North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania lies Temple University. Temple University is an undergraduate and graduate campus which has about 10,000 students enrolled. Temple University is known for the majors which they provide and the convenience of its location. The school has an excellent graduate program for those students who want to persue a career as a doctor or nurse.

The program for undergraduate students consist of the following. A student must accumulate a total of 135 credits in order to graduate. A person may have up to two majors and up to 2 minors. In a regular semester, full time students are allowed to take 17 credits. Part time students can take 9. For students living in state, it is very accessible and quick to get there because there are major trains, buses and the subway which stop right on campus. For those out of state, Temple University has 5 housing facilities which are provided for students who need it. They also provide meal plans which enables students to dine at Burger King, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Chinese Food Store and in the cafeteria at all times. The campus is secure and they provide campus security in the dorms and on campus as well as a campus van which will bring you around at night.

Students are able to register for their classes in three different ways. They can either use a pin which is provided for them pending that their grades are okay and register by phone or on-line. They can also speak with a peer adviser and register in the registrar office which is located by The Student Health services Building. The Student Activities Building is provided for the students to study or hang out. They have a video game room, a pool table, a tv room with 100 different channels of cable, 2 different food court which is accessible with your meal card, an information desk where you can find out what will be going on within the campus and ask questions to a peer adviser. There you will also find the bookstore, housing offices, student government office and rooms where all the clubs can meet. You can see how beautiful the campus is, what programs they have to offer and more by looking at a picture of it at Temple University's Website
