Neihardt is the perfect dorm for people that are going to college to learn and get a degree and have fun. It is open only to Honors Program students, but the program is so large that it's really not impossible to get in. It's quieter than the other dorms, for the most part, and much cleaner. The atmosphere isn't like that of the larger dorms, it's more homey. "The Lounge," which has yummy food, is in the basement and there's plenty of other recreation and study rooms. I'm not going to lie, there's a lot of people that just study and have absolutely no people skills, but it's not that big of a deal. It's very easy to find people you get along with, because it seems to be the most diverse dorm in terms of personality. The rooms are smaller than those in other dorms, but it's worth staying there for most people. The floors are closer knit and more active, so it's that much easier to meet people. If you are really big into loud partying all night Neihardt is, hello, not the right dorm for you. It's on Greek Row, which some Greek members find convenient, though I'm most definitely not one. It's also coed, the floors alternate boy/girl, which is one of my favorite parts!
