I graduated from UNL's College of Business two years ago. Attending UNL had many advantages, but there were also many challenges. UNL offers several different programs to choose from. UNL strives for diversity and I met people from many different places who had a variety of experiences to share. There is a lot of school spirit there and an excellent football team. There are several different extra-curricular activities to take part in.
UNL is a good place to go if you are an assertive individual. If you are the type of person who can take responsibility for making sure your financial aid, housing and class schedules are in order, UNL will be a good place to go. However, you can expect very little personalized attention in these areas. You can also expect to spend several hours each year getting these things in order. Some of the classes that are required are often full and this can easily cause problems with graduation plans. You can also expect to spend at least $50 every year in parking fines due to a complicated parking system with ever decreasing amounts of parking spaces.
