Everything you said about the S45 is so true. I know, because I have the all-but-identical S50. Your review really describes what the camera is like in use, rather than hard specs or technical capabilities, which are available on the manufacturer's website anyway.

We have to take weekly post-op pictures of my granddaughter, Candace, to send to her surgeon in Chicago. The digital camera we are currently using does not really give us the clarity that we desire.
