I bought the 9200 at a Flying J truck stop, a great place to deal because they have great prices and a no questions asked return policy. They have many locations, search the web and you will find them.
My 9200 worked well for a week, then the power connector broke. This is the part that plugs into the lighter outlet. It is made of thin, cheap plastic. I took the pieces back to Flying J and they gave me a brand new detector, the whole package.
I had the new one a week and it quit working all together. Took it back to Flying J and they gave me a full refund.
Some comments...the voice alert can be changed to straight tone alert by simply pressing the mute button for a couple of seconds. The detector worked well when it worked. I encountered everything in the few days it was actually working. The construction of this model is so cheap, I would NOT recommend it. It is all cheap plastic and low quality construction. If you do buy one, better make sure you can return it!
