Pros:Quality as good as the slide, easy to use.
Cons:hard to focus on dark slides
The Bottom Line: If you're buying it to copy slides I highly recommend it but don't waste your money to copy negatives.
I was very unsure when I purchased this if it was going to be worth the price. There were no local stores carrying it so I couldn’t see the quality of it or the photos it produced. The quality of materials used to make it was better than I had expected and the quality of photos are limited only by the quality of the slide. One thing I have noticed is that you need a good even light source or you will get “hot spots”. I find that my computer monitor with a blank white screen does the job nicely. This can be achieved by opening blank document in word, paint or a similar program. I haven’t had as much success with negatives. Although I can invert the colors in Photoshop, they never come out quite right and require much tweaking to get an acceptable image.
