Pros: Looks nice some similarity to modern art sculpture,
does good job
Cons: antenna connection wire is awkward
The Bottom Line: This unit meets acceptable levels for reception of local stations with a styling presentation that is refreshing. The price is good, but maybe try to wait for a sale.

I purchased this when we did not have any access to cable during the power outage.
My tv allows for an antenna "B" so this is were we hooked it to. The antenna uses a normal cable connector , ie round with a wire inside so it hooked up easily.
It is not an amplifier type of antenna but the for the most part got the job done. The local public tv station on 24 came in very nicely and the French language station also was strong. This last station transmits from a hill in the nearby valley park. The other vhf stations were degraded in reception because they were not as near to line of sight and required a lot of twisting and bending to get an adequate signal.
For the money it's a good back up system. It manages to get all the local stations and put them on your screen with moderate to adequate reception. The uhf reception was better than the vhf. The unit also has a nice modern look.
The only down side is that the cable pops out from beneath one end and tends to make adjustment (when moving the entire unit) rather awkward at times
