I just tried these headphones today for about 2 hours, and although I read the reviews on the newegg.com site where they were given a 5/5 as well as a friend of mine recommending them...

I'll like to say that I was very disapointed. The headphones themselves carry very nice high and mid and have a nice compact and stylish look.
The down sides...:
I bought them for the noise reduction feature and that main feature is quite terrible imo. When you turn it on, you do get a noticeable reduction in the low frequencies from the outside environment, but along with that you get a constant "white noise" effect which gets really really annoying and that IS a huge flaw I find. The other down side is the need for 2 AAA batteries instead of 1 as used by most of the competition. Also, batteries go into a separate device along the wire, not in the headphones. The design might be light and portable, but from experience, I would destroy them in 6 months, especially since the ear pieces are attached to the frame by a little knob, giving them great rotation but also making them extremely delicate.
As headphones, without the main noise reduction feature, they are very nice. That said, that main noise reduction feature seemed very flawed imo.
So all in all, don't think of buying this thing, even if you get a good deal. Get another model without the noise reduction since the sound quality is exceptional on SENNHEISERS.
