Great Radar detector

Pros: Inexpensive, comes with windshield mount, effectively detects.

Cons: None yet.

The Bottom Line: Buy one as soon as you can. In July 2002 you can find it for $40 on the Web (I did).

I have had several radar detectors and I am very pleased with this one. This is by far the cheapest that I found for the features it has. In 2001 I paid $50 for this, and in July 2002 I bought a second for my in-laws (for which I only paid $40).

There is no reason to buy a more expensive brand. I decided which features I wanted in a radar/laser detector and then I began looking for the cheapest price, and the Uniden LRD937 was perfect. I have had no problems with mine and it has detected cops using X, K, Ka bands. I was amazed that it had the cloaking feature too!

Two big thumbs up.
