The 360 degree protection is good on this radar detector. I was going into the town I live in when my my radar detector started going off, I was slowing down didn't know if it was a false alarm or if it was a radar gun. I was looking all around for the cop, and I couldn't find I I pulled up to stoplight, and I saw him behind me. So I turned off to the right, and pulled off the road thinking it was me but He got the man right in front of me for speeding.

The only bad part about this detector is that it doesn't detect Pulse Instant-on guns really well.
