| lindsey_ann15's Full Review: Pioneer PD-M406 6-Disc CD Changer |
We have had this CD player as part of our Pioneer Entertainment system for about 4 years now, and I have never, ever had a problem with it. The 6-disk holder is a little flimsy and sometimes I think I may break it, but I never do! I also had to get used to flipping my discs silver side up, but that wasn't so bad.
I think the sound quality is really good and this player is really built like a tank. I don't think I would have a problem if I dropped it a couple times. The LCD area for the readout is rather large and easy to read if you are switching tracks far away from the player, like on the couch.
I would recommend this to a techie or any music lover that doesn't like the carousel-style CD players. This is definetly handy to use and the remote is really nice, although I have since switched to one remote for the whole entertainment system. The only thing I really don't like is that the discs are slightly slow in switching, but I have since gotten used to it and it doesn't bother me anymore.
