Pros: Features

The Bottom Line: At this time I cannot recommend any Sony Products as they sell for a Premium over other brands, however, with falling quality.

I have owned this CD player from August 1998 through January 2001, when it died on me. The door will no longer close and there was no abuse to the unit which was maybe used once a month. This is only one of several Sony products that I own including 2 TV's, A Receiver, a VCR, a CD-RW and 2 Computer Monitors. I was terribly disappointed that it broke only 2 years and 5 months after being purchased, with minimal use. However, this is something that I have noticed with Sony products of late. Their quality control has fallen and their customer service is also going in the same direction (from a problem that I had with one of my monitors, but that is another story).
