Pros: Disc Capacity, Remote Functions, Price, Optical Output
Cons: Size, No PC Connection, Slow Loading
The Bottom Line: Even though I had a rough experience with my unit, I would recommend it as a decent quality high volume changer for a good price.

...that I had to take the unit in to for major repair service after 11 months. For months, I tried figuring out why certain discs seem to have static while others didn't. I checked the discs in other players, replaced cables and tried other outputs. No luck. I finally took the unit in to a certified Sony repair shop along with a few of the worst sounding CDs just before my warranty run out. After 3 weeks of waiting, I was told that they had to order and replace the entire CD player assembly. Since then, the unit has worked great. Clean sound, no skipping and a well equipped, reliable remote have been the norm. I got a free keyboard by mail when I bought the unit which helps, but a PC connection would be much better. The unit is rather large, but it fits nicely in my oversized entertainment center.
