Pros: Amazing system for the price
Cons: Not much really, other than a little confusing when setting up
The Bottom Line: For the price, I dont think anything can beat for under $500 US. Sure you may pay up to $1000US for better sound but you wont notice that much difference.

| dutchie1's Full Review: JVC RX-7000V Receiver |
I upgraded my old Sony TA AV570 Receiver to one that had Dolby Digital and DTS. The salesman here in Australia recommended the JVC 7001. Its the same as 7000 accept thats in a golden/silvery colour.
It runs very neatly with my KEF90 centre speaker and Bose301 Series3 fronts and Dali Sats in the rear.
Because of this awesome Amp I have convinced my wife that we save for a good Subwoover now.
Although not really necessary, this setup is now complete.
Whilst only having the system a fortnight, I watched Gladiator on a Pioneer 535DVD player and nearly jumped out of my seat on several occasions throughout the movie.
What a sound.
Although a bit confusing to set up at the start, I allowed nearly 3 hours to play around with the Amp to understand it.
I have no regrets.5/5 for me.
