I find it funny that I own the same reciever. I was going to review it, but read your review and decided there was little to be added. I've had it now for several years, It is still running, though sometimes lately it take a few trys to turn it on. Soon I guess I'll have to bury it. I suppose I ought to see if you have new one now... since we seem to think along the same lines, electronically... I too, have paradigm speakers for instance... and Polk Audio, which I think I read you had/have...
come to NYC to check out my system now though, 57" HDTV and complete theatre surround, it's not a bad life, you know my number... give me a call!

Nicely done, all the relevant technical information plus all the pertinent (and just as important) anecdotal information.

I'm also glad that I have Paradigm speakers- when they work. Unfortunately, I have already had to have my Monitor 9s repaired once, and my CC-370 center is in for the second time right now. At least they have a good warranty, and sound good when they work.

Paradigm speakers. I think they're some of the best out there at reasonable prices. A friend has the Reference/20s, and I recently reviewed one of their towers, which also sound great.
